360 Sync Version 3.7.4: Smarter Connections, Faster Workflows, and Greater Efficiency
February 28, 2025
Version 3.7.4 introduces several powerful new features designed to enhance connectivity, efficiency, and ease of use.
Submittal Connectivity with Autodesk and Procore
Users can now seamlessly transfer submittal data between Autodesk’s Submittal Tool and Procore’s Submittal Tool, in either direction.
Additionally, submittal data can be downloaded and exported as a file to Windows, SharePoint, or any other supported integration.
Egnyte API Integration
360 Sync now supports direct API integration with Egnyte, a highly requested feature from our customers. This new capability streamlines file management and data synchronization.
Enhanced Log Functionality
Logs can now be sorted and filtered efficiently, making it easier to locate and review project information quickly.
New Help Desk Walkthrough
A guided walkthrough has been added to assist users in setting up connections more easily. This step-by-step process simplifies onboarding and ensures a smoother user experience.
Multi-Tool Selection for Procore and Autodesk
Users can now select multiple tools within Procore or Autodesk simultaneously.
Previously, our platform supported connections to documents, sheets, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and photos. With this update, we’ve introduced a streamlined selection process: simply check the desired tools, and the system will automatically create the mappings. This allows for effortless data transfer between Autodesk, Procore, Windows, or other integrated platforms.
These enhancements reflect our ongoing commitment to improving workflow automation and user experience.
Why are we implementing these features with 360 Sync?
The decision to introduce these enhancements was driven by strong demand from both our existing and potential customers.
Egnyte Integration: A significant number of customers—approximately 15 to 20—expressed the need for a faster, more reliable, and seamless connection to Egnyte. In response, we prioritized this integration to improve workflow efficiency.
Submittals, RFIs, and Drawings Upload/Download: Customer feedback overwhelmingly highlighted the need for the ability to upload and download RFIs, submittals, and drawings more efficiently.
Submittals Connectivity: Our Submittals connection was developed in response to new functionality recently introduced by Autodesk, ensuring our platform remains aligned with evolving industry standards.
These updates reflect our commitment to delivering solutions that meet the needs of our users while enhancing overall system capabilities.
What solution or impact will each of these have for 360 Sync users?
Connecting to Egnyte is now easier than ever. Customers no longer need to rely on the Egnyte desktop connector—files can now be copied to and from Egnyte via API. This eliminates concerns about local storage consumption while improving efficiency.
For Procore and Autodesk users, our enhanced RFI, Submittal, and Drawing functionality significantly increases the value of 360 Sync. While we have always supported document management, we now extend that capability to Project Management documents as well, doubling the potential return on investment.
Beyond file management, we are enhancing day-to-day project workflows with our new Help Desk feature. This feature provides an intuitive walkthrough to assist users directly within 360 Sync. By clicking the lightbulb icon, users can access guided support to troubleshoot issues in real time. Additionally, we are continuously expanding this functionality to further streamline the user experience. For more complex issues, our support team remains readily available.
Ultimately, all these improvements are designed to enhance ease of use, transparency, and efficiency, reinforcing our commitment to providing seamless integrations and user-friendly solutions.
Is there any additional information you want users to know about these 3.7.4 features?
We’ve introduced several key improvements to further streamline workflows and enhance efficiency:
RFI Synchronization Enhancements: Users can now sync RFIs between Procore and Autodesk or download them based on specific criteria, such as status or "Ball in Court" assignments. This means RFIs can be filtered and downloaded only when assigned to a particular individual or when they reach a closed status.
Simplified Bi-Directional Syncing: We've made it even easier to establish bi-directional syncs. If multiple parties are updating files in both Autodesk and SharePoint, our enhancements ensure seamless synchronization so that data remains consistent across Autodesk, Procore, SharePoint, and Windows.
Improved Email Notifications: In the event of an error within 360 Sync, automated email notifications will now provide details on the affected project and the number of failed file transfers. This allows users to quickly identify and resolve issues within the platform.
Performance Optimization: Based on feedback from some of our larger customers, we’ve optimized 360 Sync to handle high-volume usage more efficiently. Previously, users managing 75 or more projects experienced performance slowdowns—this update significantly improves speed and responsiveness.
These enhancements reflect our ongoing commitment to improving usability, reliability, and overall system performance.
What’s next in the pipeline for 360 Sync?
We have several exciting updates in development to further enhance functionality and improve user experience:
Expanded Submittal Capabilities: We are adding status and "Ball in Court" functionality to submittals, allowing for more precise tracking and management.
Procore Observations, Inspections & Punch Lists: Soon, users will be able to transfer Procore observation, inspection, and punch list data. This data can be exported as a submittal, an Excel file, or transferred to Autodesk and vice versa.
Project Migration Enhancements: We are making it even easier to migrate projects between Procore and Autodesk, with this functionality expected to be released very soon.
Trimble Integration: Within the next one to two months, we will introduce integrations with Trimble Connect and Trimble ProjectSight. This will allow customers using Trimble ProjectSight as a document repository to manage RFIs and submittals seamlessly.
Help Desk Enhancements: We are expanding Help Desk functionality to support more integrations. Users will be guided through project setup, mapping configurations, and log reviews for an improved onboarding experience.
Cost Management Between Autodesk & Procore: Development has already begun on cost data migration between Autodesk and Procore. Within two to three months, users will be able to transfer cost data bidirectionally or export it as an Excel file or PDF.
360 Sync Dashboards: Once cost management is complete, we plan to introduce dashboards that provide insights into 360 Sync usage, common errors, and recommended fixes, helping customers optimize their workflows.
These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to delivering seamless integrations, enhanced automation, and improved efficiency for our users. Stay tuned for more details as these features roll out.
