EVOLVE MEP Launches EVOLVE Fabrication to connect model to machine for electrical contractors
New software platform set to boost shop productivity by closing the gap between design and production

ATLANTA, Ga. — Mar. 2, 2026 EVOLVE, a software company driving productivity and innovation for the modern trade contractor, today announced the launch of EVOLVE Fabrication. This new automation software connects building information modeling (BIM) data directly from Revit and EVOLVE Electrical to fabrication equipment to create a standardized, efficient and machine-ready workflow from design to production.

By bridging modeling, detailing, publishing and fabrication within one connected platform, EVOLVE Fabrication simplifies communication from model to machine. It is designed specifically for electrical contractors and results in a structured workflow that eliminates manual conversion of model data into machine-readable files while predicting complex conduit bend corrections for the user. This enables up to a 4x increase in conduit bend fabrication from design to production, saving contractors time and increasing the production rate of electrical shops.

“Machine automation has matured rapidly, and software has lagged behind in translating and correcting model data for reliable machine input,” said Adam Heon, VP of Product at EVOLVE. “EVOLVE Fabrication closes that gap by connecting design intent directly to the shop floor in a standardized, repeatable way. This software helps contractors see a full return on machine investments by removing friction from that process and lets them focus on getting more work done, faster.”

Positioned as part of EVOLVE’s market-leading design and fabrication platform, EVOLVE Fabrication will serve as the operational backbone for modern electrical contractors. It ensures bend data is organized per schedule, corrected for springback and elongation, and machine-ready and consistent, all within a single, end-to-end platform. It reduces non-productive time spent in information retrieval and rework, while increasing shop throughput.

“The modern electrical contractor needs a responsive technology partner who provides significant production rate gains across all of VDC, publishing, and fabrication,” said Richard Burroughs IV, CEO of EVOLVE. “That is now possible: EVOLVE leveraged its market-leading VDC software position to develop the industry’s first design through fabrication platform for the electrical trade. The onset of machine automation is a watershed moment for the electrical industry. EVOLVE will relentlessly work to increase your VDC and Fabrication production rates as construction evolves into manufacturing.”

EVOLVE Fabrication integrates with key equipment, including the Crippa CNC Bender and Zebra printers. Subsequent integrations in Spring of 2026 will include Matthews Marking System, Scotchman Saw and RazorGage Positioner equipment. The result will be a connected fabrication ecosystem that drives automation across a broader range of machine types. To learn more, visit EVOLVE Fabrication.

About EVOLVE

EVOLVE builds software for MEP contractors that helps them design, fabricate and deliver projects faster and more reliably. Purpose-built for the modern trade contractor, EVOLVE’s platform supports the full lifecycle of MEP work, from modeling and detailing to publishing and fabrication, within one connected system.

As construction evolves into a manufacturing-driven industry, EVOLVE sits at the intersection of design and the shop floor, helping contractors streamline workflow, automate manual tasks, reduce friction between teams, and bring greater speed and certainty to complex projects. With a focus on partnership, responsiveness, and continuous improvement, EVOLVE supports more than 600 MEP contractors across North America as they modernize how work gets done.
