Why Data Centers Should Be the Focus at Advancing Electrical 2025

July 2, 2025

Data Center

When walking into a major industry event like Advancing Electrical, most attendees aren’t just looking for swag and networking. They’re looking for solutions and ways to solve real problems happening today on real projects. Jason Earl, Senior Product Manager at EVOLVE, shared a key piece of advice for anyone attending in 2025: follow the data center thread.

“If I’m attending, I’m hoping to learn something. I want to see how other people are solving the problems I’m dealing with: whether that’s best practices or case studies.” – Jason Earl, EVOLVE

Jason pointed out that many contractors (especially electrical teams) are hungry to understand how others are prefabricating complex systems like duct banks or managing the constraints of fast-paced data center schedules. Prefab is no longer a nice-to-have, it’s actually a survival strategy in the high-pressure world of hyperscale builds.

The opportunity? Use this event to connect with peers who are already doing this at scale.

Ask or think through questions like:

How are leading firms organizing prefab for data center projects?

What tools and workflows are they using to accelerate duct bank layout?

Where are the biggest gains (in time, coordination, or quality)?

EVOLVE will be at Advancing Electrical 2025, and we’re leaning into these exact questions.
